Marie Stopes Launches Rain Season “Koba Klos and C3

Marie Stopes Sierra Leone (MSSL) has launched its annual promotion Rain Season “Koba Klos” and upgraded Contact Centre called “C3”.

The ceremony took place at MSSL on Thursday 5th August 2021 in the presence of representative of all the mobile telecommunications companies, NaCOVERC and NATCOM.

According to MSSL the “Koba Klos” promotion aims at reaching women and girls with quality, personalized and confidential services of choice that are free of user fees between Thursday 5th August to Saturday 4th September 2021 at their outreach and public sector channels.

The upgraded contact centre, which includes an automated data system to improve access to high quality confidential information and referrals for users calling their free hotline on 3535 available on all networks or accessing information through their social media channels via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

“It improves our response time to clients by offering pre and post counseling advice to them in relation to our products and services, including FP, other sexual and reproductive health (SRH), ultrasound scans, and general medical services. The system gives wider insight into our clients’ needs and helps us to provide consistent quality service delivery” said MSSL Country Director, Dr. Heidi Brown.

The representative for the National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM), Abdul Ben Foday in his key note address said they have been partner with Marie Stopes over the years and they will only continue to deepen and strengthen that partnership going forward in lips and bounds.

he said it good that they have partnered together for the C3 launched as C3 is focusing on Tele Health.

“My only advice is for us not to miss use the services provided to us. We will equally monitor this one so that prank caller will not mix up the system, it will be for the best of humanity.”

Salmata Bah TV executive producer of SLBC talked about the role of the media in family planning. She said for every activity of MSSL the media is very key and they are very pleased for them to make statement as media.

ASP Edna Sesay said MSSL is assisting the Police in terms of security due to proper family planning.

Chief Tucker of NaCOVERC encouraged his audience for them not to forget that Covid-19 is real therefore preventative measure is the best way they should go.
