The Presidential Candidate for the All Peoples Congress Party, Dr. Samura Mathew Wilson Kamara sought support from the House of Commons on Foreign Affairs select Committee for the June 24th General elections in Sierra Leone.
The foreign Affaires Select Committee is a key player in the process. The Committee has powers to engage with stakeholders and advocate for democratic values.
He said that by meeting with this committee demonstrates his willingness to work collaboratively to ensure the election process is fair and transparent
‘’I am demonstrating my commitment to ensure that the upcoming elections are conducted in a manner that reflects the will of the people”, he noted. It is essential that election process is conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner.
He concluded that meeting is crucial aspect of any democratic process and helps to ensure that the will of the people is accurately represented.
