Release Detainees Arrested For Elections-Related Issues! …APC’s Alfred Thompson Calls

Hon Alfred Ayodele Thompson of Western Area has called on the president Bio to release all the people that were arrested with regards elections related issues.

Hon Thompson made this statement this Past Thursday 17 while debating the Presidential speech delivered by his Excellency President Julius Maada Bio on August 3rd 2023 at the Chamber of parliament Tower hill in Freetown.

He went on to say that the election was not rig but there are anomalies which need to be look at, calling on the President to dialogue with APC for peace and sanity to prevail in the nation.

Hon Thompson further stated that he is in parliament to represent his people and the country, calling on his colleagues 52 members of parliament to come to parliament and represent the people so that their voices would be heard.

Hon Thompson said that he wants President together with his ministers to work with the big five changers in his Manifesto because the people are suffering and that there is hardship in the country.

He maintained that there is high cost of living but that the President and his Ministers must work hard so that the cost of commodities will be affordable for the people of this country.

He said FEED SALONE is a good initiative of the President.
